Corinne Beaton studied Sociology and Psychology for two years before she went on to obtain her Certification in Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Professional Instructor Certification and then on to complete her diploma in Special Education at Langara College. She continues to develop her training through workshops offered in the teaching communities as well as those specific to Autism Spectrum Disorder. She has clinical and theoretical experience in Lovaas ABA and completed a course offered through Speech and Language Services Early Intervention Programs. Prior to joining Loyst and Associates she worked for over fifteen years in multiple inclusive settings as a one-to-one aid, a teacher and an administrator.
Corinne has been with Loyst and Associates for five years as a team leader. She is fully versed in multidisciplinary approaches to children diagnosed with ASD and has had the opportunity to see the R&R curriculum through to fruition. Her role has been pivotal in supporting interventionists through the growth of the company. Corinne's ability to analyse situations and develop viable solutions that support both staff and families are some of her greatest strengths.
